The Solomensky District Court of Kiev ordered the National Anti-Corruption Bureau to open criminal proceedings against the director of the State Security Committee, Roman Truba. This is stated in the court ruling of August 7.
The plaintiff stated that on July 23 he filed an application addressed to the director of NABU Artyom Sytnik with a request to start a criminal case on the grounds that Roman Truba committed a criminal offense under part 3 of article 382 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (non-enforcement of a court decision).
The charges relate to the fact that the director of the State Security Committee, contrary to the court decision, did not open criminal proceedings at the request of the plaintiff. The director of NABU, Artem Sytnik, also refused to enter the specified information into the SRPI. Therefore, the plaintiff appealed to the court with a request to acknowledge the fact of his inaction and oblige Sytnik to begin an investigation against the Truba.
The court decided that the statement showed signs of a criminal offense by the director of the State Security Committee.
This criminal proceeding is directly related to the fact that the Director of the State Security Committee was forbidden to take personnel decisions alone, but he released a number of employees. Now the director of the pre-trial investigation body has discredited himself. Because you need to act according to the law, despite your personal desires. What do you think?
