Mikhail Radutsky, a potential chairman of the health committee, said that in Ukraine it would be possible to launch a full-fledged insurance system in two years.
«If we carry out the president’s program and, as promised, in two years we will be able to create a model of state insurance medicine, then foreign investors will be in line, because we are a country with a very large population, a country located in the center of Europe. For insurance companies, especially investors, it is very interesting when they understand how funds are returned. An investor cannot enter a country where there is no money back mechanism», - Radutsky said.
According to the plan of the Servant of the People team, as soon as the money back mechanism is worked out, international companies will invest 10-15 billion dollars. At the same time, the system will remain state so that every Ukrainian can get access to medicine, as stated in the Constitution.
According to Radutsky, key changes should be made in the next 6 months.
«About 65 laws and bills related to the transformation of the healthcare system will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. We have no more than six months for their adoption. We understand that after six months we can’t do anything ... the «fan» will begin. In any chosen government, there is time no more than six months to do key things. We will finish the rest», - said Radutsky.
This list of bills includes the following: a complete inventory of equipment in the country; adoption of Ukrainian protocols, which will indicate the drugs and manipulations available in Ukraine; development of payment mechanisms for services for all groups of Ukrainians and others.
The medical sector in Ukraine is not integral. After the reform, many areas of this area suffered from the adoption of bills borrowed from other countries, and inappropriate for the economy of Ukraine. Therefore, there are many problems that have not been resolved so far. It is necessary to change this industry for full-fledged work, because health care is very important for every Ukrainian.
